This page explains how Fekra School uses account and learning information, Google sign-in and sign-in emails.
Information you provide
We use your name and email to register a family account. When adding a student, you may provide their name, age, languages and learning goals. Activity, session and progress records support the learning experience.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your verified email, name and Google account identifier to link sign-in to your family account. This option does not request access to your emails or files. You can use an email code instead.
Sign-in codes and company mail
We use your email to send a sign-in code when you request one. Separately, Fekra administrators authorize the company mailbox to send codes on behalf of Fekra. Family accounts do not grant this permission. The company connection requests sending access only, without permission to read messages.
Cookies
Cookies maintain your sign-in session and language choice and protect sign-in requests. Signing out ends your sign-in session on the device.
Services used
The site uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare services to operate and store site data. Google provides sign-in and email delivery when connected; Resend is used while it remains the active code-delivery service. Live lessons use Daily to transmit audio and video when enabled.
Protection and retention
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Verification codes are stored as hashes, and the stored company-mail authorization is encrypted. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Account and learning information is retained to operate the account and track progress; contact us to request correction or deletion.
Use of Google data
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and is limited to the purposes described here. We do not use Google data for advertising.
Fekra AI assistant
Fekra uses OpenAI to answer questions about public website information. Written questions and limited public conversation context are sent to the service; audio is sent when you choose to start a voice conversation. Account summaries are read directly from school records and are not sent to the service at present. Do not share personal information in the public chat. The site does not save chat transcripts in its database.
